Studio Update (4/22/2019)

Hey, it's been a while - sorry that I've been quiet with little to no updates, but as you probably all know, I announced on Facebook and Twitter a while ago that my website was temporarily shut down due to the fact that I didn't have enough money, but thanks to some fans who offered to pitch in and help me reopen the website on a yearly Pro plan with Bandzoogle, I was able to get the money needed from the aforementioned fans (that wishes to remain anonymous) to pay like, almost 200 bucks for a yearly pro plan to keep this site open for a while.

With that out of the way, now I can resume sharing some important updates. Some of you may have been following my Twitter updates for a while now, and you're probably wondering what's happening with the album. Well, first things first. I wanted to talk to you all about what's been happening in my personal life outside of my music career as of late. You all know that I moved to Colorado about 4 months ago, presumably on what was supposed to be a good deal. Unfortunately, that deal never went through and I had to deal with abusive and transphobic ex roommates at the time, thus leading me to freak out about staying there anymore, so I took it upon myself to contact some people, reach out to some resources and get the ball rolling on trying to get out of Colorado and get back to Vermont, specifically for two reasons: one - I had multiple appointments scheduled in May and upcoming surgeries happening soon this summer in Vermont that I cannot just reschedule, and it was important for me to finish my transition as a genderqueer/trans woman. Two - I was not safe at my former home here in Colorado. Anyway, moving forward...

I will be finishing the album this year for sure, and you will be seeing new music video releases coming soon on YouTube this year as well, an updated tour schedule that mostly consists of open mic gigs, busking gigs and a few opening slots on the 2nd or 3rd stage (instead of the main stage) at some venues, festivals and special events near you soon. I'm so excited to be back in Vermont soon and to share more behind-the-scenes updates with you all from the studio, and I hope you continue on this journey with me from here on out as we attempt to finish what was a very long overdue solo album since having broken up with my former bandmates from Wanderlust Grrrl.

That's all the updates for now, and I'll see you on the road soon.
